Setting Up OLE DB

  1. Set up a UDL (Microsoft Data Link) file through Windows or OpenTunnel Designer .

    UDL files are stored in the directory defined in the MS_UDLDIR directory.

  2. Set up a UDL (Microsoft Data Link) file through Windows.

    UDL files are stored in the directory defined in the MS_UDLDIR directory. The default directory is ..\WorkSpace\System\Database\oledb\udl.

  3. Obtain the appropriate OLE DB Provider software from your database vendor.
  4. Connect to the OLE DB data source.
